Working with Natalie was such an informative and positive experience! I had lost a large amount of weight in the past and over the years had gained some of it back. First of all, you should know something. I never write reviews for anything. I am very unwilling to do it unless it’s something really special. This is an exception to that rule. Natalie saved me from a lifetime of pain. I’ve been going to doctors since I was six to try and diagnose mysterious stomach problems. I’ve been in severe pain for most of my life. No one really seemed to believe me, though. Test after test showed nothing, and doctors and family alike insinuated I was lying, exaggerating, or just plain crazy. I wasn’t. Right before I went to see Natalie I went through some extensive testing with a GI doctor in Louisville. Nothing showed up on the tests, as usual. But I was still in pain, sick all the time, and had no answers. I don’t exaggerate when I tell you there were times when I wasn’t sure how much more pain I could take. To be so sick all the time, and to be laughed at, told you’re crazy or making it up - it’s a nightmare. I didn’t know where to turn. I felt so hopeless all the time. No one could help me, and I didn’t understand why. Then I went to Natalie and she changed my life. She immediately took my pain seriously, unlike the countless doctors I’ve seen during the last thirty years. Natalie was kind, patient, and concerned with the (lack of) treatment and care I’ve received during my life. She cares deeply about helping people, and she has helped me in a way that is difficult to put into words. Because of her, I will not live my life in pain anymore. Because of her, I will not live my life thinking I am delusional. I cannot recommend Natalie enough. She is a wonderful and compassionate provider, and I am so happy I found her. Now I can live a life I never thought possible, because of her care. Everything seemed so grim for me just a year or so ago. I was beginning to think I was just going to have to live in silent pain for the rest of my life. But I don’t. And I have Natalie to thank for it.

Natalie was amazing. I really wasn’t sure what to expect when going to a nutritionist, but as soon as I met her she was super friendly and professional. After our consultation, she set me up on a plan for me which included 2 follow ups. One of my favorite things about her, is that she not only told me which foods were a better choice, but she also provided me with recipes which included breakfast, lunch, dinner and snack options. That made choices so much easier and helped give me a clearer understanding! During our follow up she asked about progress and if I had any questions or things I needed help with. She then helped me understand the better options for going out to eat at various types of restaurants, even fast food. During my time with her, she answered any questions I had, even if it wasn’t time for a follow up. I texted her in between follow ups if I had a concern and she always was so willing to get back with me and help me out. When I went to Natalie in October of 2018 I was a size 7, now as of February 2019, I’m down to a size 3. I’ve always been so used to being around that size and I am so thankful to Natalie for helping me get back down to what I’m happy with. I HIGHLY recommend Natalie. She’s so helpful, so professional, and really knows what she’s talking about. She really wants you to succeed and is always there to help if you need it along the way!

Natalie has helped me so much in learning how to be healthy. She taught me the right combinations of foods to eat and how to shop for these foods in the outer aisles of the grocery store. Also, I had an injury which caused me to have to stop running. She helped me to work through accepting this change and how to change my diet to reflect this. If you are thinking of working with Natalie, you will find her to be a very knowledgeable person who listens extremely well to where you are and where you want to go (focus on listening). Part of her program is giving you a food guide that simplifies a weight loss program. She will also talk you through any areas of difficulty that you may be experiencing (focus again on listening to your issues and needs). Besides being knowledgeable in nutrition, Natalie is friendly, courteous, kind, cheerful and always very interested in your progress (good or not so good).

In 2018 I was transitioning out of a facility for women with eating disorders and I needed to choose a dietician for my team of providers to keep me accountable in my recovery. I met with Natalie from Nutrition 502 and long story short, she changed my life.
Recovery is not linear, so Natalie worked with me during my ups and downs to keep me on track. She has been my #1 cheerleader and an excellent support throughout my journey.

About a year or so ago, My wife and I met with Natalie of Nutrition 502 to get diet/nutrition recommendations. I had recently been diagnosed with benign irregular heart beats and it was found that I had a small amount of plaque in one heart valve. I want to improve my diet and reduce the possibility of further plaque buildup in my heart valves. Natalie made some great diet recommendations including having no more than 20 grams of saturated fat per day, work on getting more protein in my diet and learning what foods to avoid. My diet became basically plant based including my protein intake. I continued my workouts because I compete in power walk races. This past February, I had an exam by cardiologist who was really happy with my test results. No more irregular heart beats and heart appeared very strong. A few weeks later, I had a physical and blood test. The physical went very well and due to the low blood pressure I had, I was taken off my blood pressure medication. The doctor said that my diet which was basically plant based was responsible for having good blood pressure. The blood work was done and the doctor said that my overall cholesterol was really great and that my bad cholesterol was very low as well. Low triglycerides and no sign of diabetes. I credit the assistance of Natalie with helping me to have such great exams and blood work. We had our sessions with her and received her recommendations on our diet. And being able to email her with questions periodically has been a great help. We feel very lucky to have had the opportunity to work with her.
